I am a passionate teacher who champions creativity in all aspects of life and learning and I am excited by the teaching and learning opportunities at ANI. I believe in lifelong learning and instilling a love of reading for pleasure in my students, to be continued throughout their lives. I enjoy employing a creative curriculum and using collaborative, hands on activities in my learning environment. I believe it is important to establish strong and meaningful relationships with my pupils in a nurturing and inclusive environment and I hope that all children in my care will feel enjoyment and successes during our time together.

I grew up in London and earned my First Class Honours Degree in Childhood Studies from the University of Leeds. I then completed a PGCE through the esteemed Teach First Leadership Development Programme at Northumbria University in Newcastle. Prior to joining ANI, I taught in primary schools in Newcastle, UK, and at an International School in Bangkok, Thailand. I have led cooking clubs, French clubs and been involved in numerous sports tournaments, competitions and school residential activities. I have also worked with charities and provided English language education to children in Peru.

When I am not teaching, I love to travel as much as I can, read, paint, play netball and cook. I also enjoy singing and have partaken in a couple of staff bands!
