Louisa is a passionate teacher who champions creativity in all aspects of life and learning and is excited by the teaching and learning opportunities at ANI. Louisa believes in lifelong learning and instilling a love of reading for pleasure in her students, to can be continued throughout their lives. She enjoys employing a creative curriculum and using collaborative, hands on activities in her learning environment. Louisa believes it is important to establish strong and meaningful relationships with her pupils in a nurturing and inclusive environment and hopes that all children in her care will feel enjoyment and successes during their time together.
Louisa grew up in London and earned her First Class Hons Degree in Childhood Studies from the University of Leeds. She then completed a PGCE through the esteemed Teach First Leadership Development Programme at Northumbria University in Newcastle. Prior to joining ANI, Louisa has taught in schools in Newcastle (the North East of England) and at an International School in Thailand. She has led cooking clubs, French clubs and been involved in numerous sports engagements and school residential activities. She has also worked with charities and provided English language education to children in Peru.
When Louisa is not teaching, she loves to travel, read, paint, play Netball and cook!
