Nicole Astrella

Y7 Dean, Arts Coordinator, Room 15

Ko Nicole Astrella tōku ingoa.

I firmly believe that student success is driven by meaningful partnerships with whānau and by cultivating a culture where students remain at the heart of every decision. As a kaiako, I am passionate about creating opportunities for students to set their own goals and take ownership of their learning, growing their confidence, capability, and agency.

As Dean of the Tōtara Team, I am committed to growing our students, uplifting mana, and building strong student agency. I am also incredibly privileged to be the Arts and Cultural Coordinator at ANI, supporting enriching opportunities for ākonga beyond the classroom. I love creating experiences where students can celebrate their culture, creativity, and identity. At ANI, our vision is to grow globally minded, locally connected, knowledgeable, and balanced lifelong learners, and it is an honour to contribute to this vision while helping shape our tamariki into confident and capable future leaders.

In my free time, you will often find me at a concert, the theatre, or laughing my way through a comedy show. I love how the arts inspire creativity and bring so much joy to my life. At home, I enjoy experimenting in the kitchen and trying new recipes, especially when I am cooking for my partner.

I look forward to working alongside you to support your child during their time at ANI.
