Furqan Siddiqui

Onsite Trainee, Room 5

I’m Furqan Siddiqui, an Auckland-based educator originally from Pakistan, with extensive experience living and working across the Middle East, Asia, and Australia, which has given me a strong global perspective and deep respect for cultural diversity. I was originally trained as a Telecommunications and Computer Engineer and hold multiple tertiary qualifications, including engineering degrees, an MBA, and a wide range of NZQA-recognised certifications in teaching, ICT, leadership, project management, Te Reo Māori, and English for academic purposes, reflecting my commitment to lifelong learning. For the past eight years, I have worked as a Teacher Aide in Auckland primary and secondary schools, supporting students across many subjects while fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments that build confidence and curiosity. I am currently completing a Graduate Diploma in Teaching (Primary) and am motivated to contribute meaningfully to New Zealand’s education system, viewing teaching as a lifelong journey of learning, service, and growth.
