Chloe Moore

School Counsellor

Kia ora koutou,

My name is Chloe and I am happy to be joining the ANI team in 2024 in my role as student counsellor.

I specialise in providing developmentally appropriate, client-centred, strengths-based therapy for young people with commitments to trauma-informed and culturally responsive practices. I’m a fully registered member of the New Zealand Association of Counsellors, with postgraduate qualifications in both Counselling Theory and Developmental Science to Masters level.

Counselling for young people is wonderfully unique; my role is to sensitively support students in ways that suit their diverse needs. My aim for those attending counselling with me is that they will leave feeling heard, valued and resourced with the appropriate skills and strategies to manage future challenges.

Beyond the counselling room, I enjoy being in nature whenever I can – hiking, swimming, lounging on the beach with a good book. My family live in the Coromandel, the best beaches in the country, if you ask me!

I am looking forward to meeting you all, always happy to chat.
