Bruce Ng

Miniball Coordinator, Room 5

Kia ora, my name is Bruce Ng and I am very excited to be a classroom teacher of Room 5. I was born and raised in the beautiful city of Hong Kong, I can speak fluent Cantonese and I can read and write in traditional Chinese. I was lucky enough to come to Auckland, New Zealand when I was 13 years old for my secondary school journey at Auckland Grammar School. I completed the Bachelor of Secondary Teaching diploma from The University of Auckland last year and joined ANI last year as a teacher aid. I am looking forward to getting to know all my students and to build strong, positive relationships. Outside of the classroom, I love spending time with my friends and family. I love the outdoors and you will probably find me at the field throwing a frisbee around after school because I LOVE FRISBEE. As a teacher, I value strong relationships with students and their whanau. I believe that in order to teach anyone, I need to have a strong in-depth understanding of who they are and their needs to unlock their full potential. If you ever walk by room 5, come in and introduce yourself. I would love to meet you all!
