Kia ora, my name is Brooke Tuialii and I am teaching students in room 24. I love working with this age group, encouraging them to experiment and explore the curriculum. I spent time as a classroom teacher in South Auckland and Christchurch before spending 10 years living in Japan. It was the most amazing experience to live in a country so different to New Zealand. I learned so much from being part of such a respectful culture and of course, enjoyed the delicious food. My husband and I returned to New Zealand with three children, one of which attends ANI. My husband is a New Zealand-born Samoan and my parents are of Maori and Tongan descent so I am passionate about cultural heritage and enjoy learning about the various cultures our students represent. We all come together to make one large ANI whanau which is very special. I am also passionate about the many sports provided at ANI so you will likely see me sideline, coaching, managing or supporting our young sportspeople. This will be my third year at ANI and I look forward to seeing the students enjoy our amazing new facilities.
