Alasdair is an engaging and motivating practitioner from the UK. He has a passion for education and, in particular, ensuring that learning is not only inclusive and challenging for all, but also fun! He has taught in a range of schools in the UK and enjoys planning creative and engaging lessons, and stretching children to achieve their full potential. Before he took his postgraduate teaching qualification, Alasdair read geography at university and was a cathedral administrator for four years.
Alasdair loves sport and the outdoors and has recently bought a campervan to explore NZ – he welcomes any travellers’ tips! He has a passion for singing and has recently joined the back row of Auckland cathedral choir. He previously held a number of posts in various cathedrals in the UK. Two of his other passions are skiing and scuba-diving. Alasdair believes that having a range of other interests outside of school has a direct impact on the development of an individual.
