I am a senior physiotherapist with over 20 years neurological clinical experience in the UK and New Zealand. I established a neurological Rehabilitation service  with the vision of creating a neurological clinic supporting the rehabilitation needs of the neurological population. I am currently the Acting CEO, National Clinical  Lead and a Trustee for the Duncan Foundation founded in 2017. www.duncanfoundation.orgThe Foundation is a charitable trust that provides access to clinical  assessment and rehabilitation from disorder-specific clinicians to patients who have been diagnosed with progressive neurological conditions.   I am also a part of the Neurogenetics Research Clinic research team, working alongside New Zealand’s leading neuromuscular clinical team at the University of  Auckland and Auckland City Hospital. I am proud to lead expert teams of Neurological clinicians in Auckland and across New Zealand.   When I am not working I enjoy an active lifestyle which includes coaching and watching my daughters play sports of which they are both very keen participants  and spending time with our lovely Dog Vader and as a family escaping to the beach. I have 2 daughters of which both are at ANI this year (yr 7 and yr 8) and as  this is my second year on the ANI PTA, I wanted to be a part of the school as it is only 2 years spent here but 2 very important years and I didn’t want to lose  touch with the school systems, staff and other parents.

Currently I run operations for two US based companies, one established and one start-up, working with some of the largest trading firms and exchanges in the  US. My roles cover Finance, HR and Information Security across both companies. I joined the PTA in March and was elected Treasurer.   Originally from Palmerston North, I moved to Auckland 25 years ago and have spent most of my time here living in East Auckland, currently residing in Orakei.  I love living close to the ocean and the CBD. I share custody of my daughter and our family time is immensely precious to me. She is in her second year at ANI and  we are grateful for the opportunities to learn and grow that the school provides.   My original background, post-graduation from Massey University, was in HR. Following my move to Auckland, I worked for 3 years at Telecom in project  co-ordination roles prior to spending 20 years in the fitness industry. While I enjoyed my time in the fitness industry, I was ready for a change and in 2017, I  completed a copywriting and online marketing course and set up my own business. This morphed into an opportunity to work with a friend of 25 years based in the US, which I have been doing ever since.   I am passionate about learning and personal growth and am always willing to take on new responsibilities and recommendations for books! I am an avid supporter of the Black Caps and the All Blacks and have a general interest in most sports, cricket being my passion. I played competitive cricket for Eden-Roskill  for 23 years and now play T20 for Cornwall, purely for the social and camaraderie aspects.   I’ve enjoyed my time in the PTA so far and look forward to making further contributions to its benefit.

I’m Lata Mistry and I joined the PTA as my son started in year 7 at the school in 2021. I’ve always considered volunteer work an important part of society and what better way to provide a benefit to the community, than helping out at the local school. Plus it’s a great way to get involved and help make a positive impact on your own child’s school life. My previous volunteer work was with Radio Lollipop (a children’s charity based in hospitals) for eight years and I was elected chairperson of the Radio Lollipop  Starship branch for two years. I also volunteered with Red Cross and delivered the Meals on Wheels service, for five years. As a legal executive, in the Banking and Finance sector, I’ve worked at a number of law firms and am currently working at a property consultancy company. I’ve studied Horticulture and love gardening and teaching gardening and enjoyed running gardening workshops at the local primary school. My family and I like getting outdoors, exploring new places, running together and spending time on my child’s interests and sports.

Tēnā koutou katoa, I have a busy lively family consisting of my husband Hayden and four children. My eldest daughter is in year 8 at ANI and my son and twin daughters attend Mt Eden  Normal Primary School. I Whakapapa back to Whakatohea, Opotiki and have lived in Epsom since birth. I attended Epsom Normal Primary School and then ANI.  My time at ANI was extremely formative and I have many fun and positive memories at this school, still holding friendships from back then! I attended Epsom  Girls Grammar and then headed to Otago University and studied Nutrition and Dietetics. In my early 20s I travelled to London and spent 8 years working and adventuring with Hayden before moving back in 2009 to live in Mt Eden.   I am a community-spirited person, during my children’s early years I attended Eden Epsom Playcentre for nine years where I held roles of Treasurer and  Coordinator finishing in 2020. It then felt natural to move on and join the PTA at ANI along with managing my daughters' Netball team. I look forward to many years of PTA involvement with ANI in my three children’s future.   I am very passionate about health and wellbeing, working part-time as a Dietitian in private practice (Mint Nutrition and Shelly Beach Practice) supporting clients with all types of challenging eating behaviours. I work alongside psychologists and other health professionals to support my clients to embrace their bodies and build a peaceful relationship with food.   Along with family life I enjoy cooking, keeping fit, playing badminton and spending time with extended whanau and friends.

Hello, my name is Toni Lucas, I am the mother of two beautiful (mostly) boys. My youngest son is in year 7 and my other son is now at Auckland Grammar but attended ANI graduating in 2021.

My sons attended Royal Oak Primary School where I was part of the PTA and ran the After School Café and the Cake Stall at the carnival for a number of years.

I moved to New Zealand from South Africa 18 years ago where I married my Kiwi husband, Matt who is a born and bred Aucklander and who also attended ANI.

Sport has always been a very big part of my life and whilst I have given up team sports I still try to keep active when time permits. My boys are avid sportsmen and you will find me on the sports field side-line supporting them most weekends.

For a small group of dedicated parents, the ANI PTA raise a huge amount of money through the chocolate fundraiser, mufti events, socials and a-thons. In the last 4 years over $160,000 has been donated by the PTA for resources that Ministry funding cannot provide.
