Important message for parents and caregivers:

notice

We have been informed that this Wednesday 31 May, from 1-3pm, NZEI primary school teachers will attend a union meeting to discuss the Ministry of Education’s latest offer.

The proposed strike action has been halted as there will be a new offer on the table. The 1-3pm session time on Wednesday is for staff to discuss that offer. This is progress and we are hopeful the offer addresses the concerns raised by teachers; particularly around workload, learning support and more equity with our secondary school colleagues.

As the majority of our teachers are union members we would appreciate your support.

We are ending our usual school day at 12:30pm (the start of lunchtime) this Wednesday 31 May. If this is impossible for you we will be offering limited supervision until 3pm that day. If your student requires this supervision, please fill out this short google form as soon as possible.

We thank you in advance for your continued support.
